Maroko: Između europskog bogatstva i afričkog siromaštva

O nekim zemljama imaš neka određena očekivanja prije nego ih posjetiš. Najviše volim dok se ugodno iznenadim i neko mjesto/zemlja premaši moja očekivanja.

Nakon putovanja u Kinu odluka je bila - da nastavljamo s Azijskim kontinentom ovaj put smo planirali posjetiti Vietnam, Tajland i Kambodžu. Plan da odemo tamo je propao, naš suputnik Ivan      ( nadimak: doktor ) čekao je početak predavanja iz specijalizacije i nije mogao ići na put od 3 i pol tjedna bez da zna raspored početka predavanja.


 Nakon što smo shvatili da ništa od Azije, počeli smo planirati gdje da odemo, uvjet je bio drugi kontinent i da prođemo tu državu što je više moguće. Imali smo jako puno ideja, ali ništa nam nije bilo posebno zanimljivo. Sasvim slučajno smo se sjetili Maroka. Drugi je kontinent, ima palme, sunce, ocean, Saharu, deve. Mi smo cijelo vrijeme mislili da će nam tamo biti 30 stupnjeva i da ćemo se sunčati. Mislim da je to i presudilo da izaberemo Maroko.

Kraljevina Maroko je država u sjevernozapadnom dijelu Afrike, izlazi na Atlantski ocean i Sredozemno more. Glavni grad je Rabat, a najveći Casablanca.  Službeni jezici su arapski i berberska, iako će te odlično proći ako pričate francuski - svi u Maroku pričaju francuski. Valuta im je dirham, budite pažljivi da ih promjenite na aerodromu ako vam ostane dirhama na povratku jer se ne mogu mijenjati nigdje, osim u Maroku.

Pa krenimo od početka - rano ujutro smo krenuli za Veneciju, odakle nam je letio avionom, parkirali smo auto pored zračna luke Marko Polo gdje smo trebali sletjeti. Parking i prijevoz do aerodroma Trevisa smo platili 80 eura što je odlična cijena, jer je Treviso udaljen od Marca Pola pola sata vožnje.

Aerodrom Marakeš

Čim smo izašli s aerodroma shvaćamo da Marakeš nije niti približno onom što smo zamišljali. Sve izgleda moderno. Odmah na izlazu s aerodroma su nas napali taksisti nudeći nam prijevoz od aerodroma do smještaja za 300 dirhama. Aerodrom u Marakešu nalazi u samom centru grada - svega četiri kilometra udaljen od centra grada. Cijena taxija od aerodroma do smještaja ne bi trebala biti veća od 70 dirhama bez obzira jel se vaš smještaj nalazi u modernom ili starom dijelu grada.

Pokušali smo se cjenkati s njima, te ih tražili da upale taksimetar i da ćemo platiti koliko bude bilo na taksimetru, svi taksisti su rekli - da ne postoji taksimetar do od aerodroma. Da, baš.

Savjetovala bih vam da s lijeve strane aerodroma, na glavnoj ulici pokušate uhvatiti taksi, ima ih nevjerojatno puno, sigurno ćete platiti puno manju cijenu ili pokušajte na istom mjestu uhvatiti bus koji vozi do centra. Mi to nismo znali - pa smo ipak uzeli taxi s ulaza aerodroma i platili pet puta veću cijenu.

Naš apartman je bio u Guelizu, novijem dijelu grada svega 15ak minuta šetnje do medine. Medina je stari dio grada, isjeckana labirintom uskih ulicama. Zbog veoma uskih ulica, i do samo jednog metra širine, često su zatvorene za automobilski promet, a u nekim slučajevima čak i za promet motociklima i biciklima.U novom djelu gdje je bio naš apartman nalaze se trgovine kao što su Zara, H&M, Burger King, Mc Donalds, te razni restorani i noćni klubovi.

Činjenica je da su medine opasnije, iako tvrdim da je Marakeš jako siguran, ali ne preporučujem kasnovečernje izlete u medinu, posebno ako ste žene bez muške pratnje. Već nakon prvog dana ćete to shvatiti.

Muškarci vam namiguju, doslovno pilje u vas iako se u muškom društvu, rekli bi kod nas - nemaju srama. Sigurnost u Maroku je relativna, ne vjerujem da bi vas netko napao u fizičkom smislu, ali vjerujem da bi vas mogli opljačkati ako niste pažljivi. Doktoru se stalno torba misteriozno otvarala dok smo šetali kroz medinu. Tako da pazite na svoje stvari.

Marakeš ima približno oko milijun stanovnika, jedan je od četiri kraljevska grada uz Fes, Meknes i Rabat. Maroko je nevjerojatan, od snijega na Atlasu, preko pustinje na jugu do izlaza na Atlantski ocean u Casablanci slobodno mogu reći da - Maroko ima sve.

Nakon doručka smo krenuli prema La Jardin Majorelle, botanički vrt i nekadašnji dom Yves Saint Laurenta, no tamo je bila prevelika gužva pa smo odlučili pitati na ulazu kada je najbolje vrijeme, odnosno kad ima najmanje gužva u vrtu da se vratimo kasnije ili sutra.

Prvi zajednički selfie u Maroku

Tad smo se i prvi put susreli s dugim cijevima, odnosno s čuvarima sa strojnicama ili koje već oružje da je bilo (strojnica zvuči puno bolje). Čuvali su vrtove, vjerojatno jer je to jedna od većih atrakcija u Marakešu, na prvi pogled izgledaju zastrašujuće, ali brzo smo se naviknuli jer smo ih nakon toga viđali češće npr. na ulazu u medinu, aerodromu, trgovima.

Airport
 
Marrakech Menara Airport is located 6km southwest of town. Due to the growing number of international and charter flights serving Marrakesh, the airport is expanding and a second terminal is currently being built.

In the arrivals hall, you'll find currency exchange, ATMs, an information desk and phone providers where you can equip yourself with a Moroccan SIM card. The currency exchange office stays open until the last flight for the night has arrived.

A petit taxi to central Marrakesh from the airport (6km) should be no more than Dh70, but you will most likely have extreme difficulty convincing the driver of this. Late at night, with no other options available, drivers will typically quote between Dh200 and Dh300.
Getting Around Marrakech

Marrakesh was made for walking. The medina's skinny maze of souqs and alleys can only be explored on foot and central Guéliz is only a 20- to 25-minute stroll from Djemaa El Fna.

It’s pretty easy to get around the city of Marrakech by foot and by taxi. We mostly walked, but I recommend having a map or using a phone with data to use Google maps as some of the directions can be tricky, especially in Medina. You can also download offline maps in advance if you know where you will be headed.

Taxi

Metered rates for the city's beige petit taxis around town are between Dh8 and Dh20 with a Dh10 surcharge at night. Many drivers will insist their meter is 'broken' and will quote higher prices, particularly taxis waiting at stands that get a lot of tourist business (the airport, train station, Djemaa El Fna and Jardin Majorelle are notorious for this). You can usually get a metered rate – or at least, a better-quoted price – by flagging a taxi down from the street.

If your party numbers more than three, you must take a grand taxi, which requires negotiation.

You haven't visited Marrakech if you don't visit these gardens.


Marjorelle Gardens was one of the attractions I wanted to visit in Marrakech and I certainly wasn't disappointed. There was a cooling and calming atmosphere to the place as we walked along the pathways through the various garden rooms. I was quite taken by the colours which dominated - yellow, blue and orange, and the plants blended so well with these.

The Majorelle Garden is a two and half acre botanical garden and artist's landscape garden in Marrakech, Morocco.

It was created by French Orientalist artist, Jacques Majorelle over almost forty years, starting in 1923 and features a Cubist villa designed by French architect, Paul Sinoir in the 1930s.

The property was the residence of the artist and his wife from 1923 until their divorce in the 1950s. In the 1980s, the property was purchased by fashion designers, Yves Saint-Laurent and Pierre Bergé who worked to restore it. Today the garden and villa complex is open to the public.





03 |Musee Yves Saint Laurent Marrakech

If you appreciate fashion or design you will more than likely enjoy this small museum next to the Majorelle gardens. YSL was a true icon of his time and this was a nice way to spend an hour learning more about him and his work.

The Museum of YSL is one of the absolute MUST SEES of Marrakesh. In the exhibition of Haute couture (some pieces are also from the ready to wear collection), you can go on a journey from the beginning of his work up to the late 90th.

How To Grow Your Instagram in 2018

 The truth is there is no magic to become big Instagram star over the night, no secret recipes, "just'' lots of work and dedication.

In this post, we are talking about Instagram and about new updates that are made in 2018, Instagram is always changing his algorithm and we as a content creators have to be aware of all the things that are changing. This last time Instagram changed their algorithm things like - lower visibility, less engagement, and fewer likes started to happen.
After months of researching and trying different things, I decided to write everything down.

Through the years I found my passion for traveling and digital marketing. Now I am stuck with lots of followers who are not interested in my content anymore, for example. they were interested in my previous photos related to makeup/fashion and I don't do posts like that anymore.

I decided to delete all my inactive followers in next few months because when you post only the ten percent of your following will see your post at first.
Now, I have some crazy idea to start everything from zero.

BIG DON'T!
Don't buy followers.

Instagram is not stupid, he knows everything and he can shadowban your Instagram profile.
If you are buying followers, they are probably ghost followers and what's the point of having 100 000 followers if you have 100 likes per photo? Ghost followers are not real people, they will not like your photos, they will not engage with your content. Cleaner is the perfect tool to unfollow, block ghost or inactive followers, mass delete posts and unlike previously liked photos or videos.

It's better to have 100 active followers than to have 200000 inactive followers who are using autobots to like your posts and never click through to your website or purchase your products and services.

1. Open to your audience and show them that you are authentic

 Before you post a photo go on others people's photos and comment on them and don't just write "nice pic".

• Ask them some questions related to the photo. 

• Be interested in their content. 

• Connect with them.

Be active, talk like it's a real conversation. (Because it is!)

2. Theme your feed

I am struggling with this because I want to post everything and I often get lost in one big mess, but I'm trying to keep everything presentable. Less or more.
Perfect app for that is Unum with this app, you can easily organize your Instagram and plan out your posts. I highly recommend Unum for an IG planner.
Instagram is your visual personality. If you stick to a style, then you will have a consistent theme. Pick one filter and stick to it.  I used Darkroom, then VSCO and now I am using Lightroom. They are all great apps!

3. Use #hashtags

Find the right hashtags for you, stick to your theme/niche don't just post #likeforlike #travel #fashion #sunset #mood #instagood and #  like that because those hashtags are so competitive and your photo will be lost in few seconds.

Find five good hashtags relevant to your photo,  the best hashtags to use are those who have less than 500 000 posts.

If I use smaller # I often end up in the popular posts and I stay there for days.
The new thing is that - you have to put # in the caption, not in comments. They will not work in comments anymore.

4. Learn some photography skills
You don't have to buy some fancy expensive camera, you can use your phone with a decent camera and you need to practice your eye. I use my iPhone for most of my Instagram photos.

• Avoid the front camera (lower quality)
• Use your back camera (higher quality)
• Learn some composition.
• Add some filter and you are ready!

You don't have to be perfect.

As you grow your audience you will learn a lot of new things and you will be better with every next photo that you take. Imagine that Instagram is the place where you can present yourself to the world. Do you really want to show the world your blury photos? I don't think so.

  5. Stop posting photos that are not relevant to your audience

 Focus on your content.

You cannot post travel, sunset, feet, heels, cat, baby and then expect to have thousands of likes,  all of your future followers will look into your feed and they will follow you because they can relate to the photos.  Ok, you can post kittens, kittens are cute.
But you know what I mean. Do you?
